This work, premiered in the summer of 2007, is full of energy from the opening tremolos in the violin. The title gives a fitting description as this work is characterized by waves of sound ranging in texture from solo lines for each instrument to full ensemble, and in mood from sedate and legato to frenzied staccato passages.
