Written for the Woodstock Fanshawe Singers during Jeff's fifth term as composer-in-residence. The melody echoes the age of the text. This piece is very strophic, verse after verse with no break, however Jeff has kept it interesting by shifting the melody to different voices and changing the harmonic progressions.
