The text by Dr. Smithdas, deaf/blind since age 4, is wonderful in bringing small dreams to life through a decision of the heart. A text almost any age can relate to. Tempo, meter changes and modulations create warmth and colour in lush harmonies and a simple melody. The accompaniment is moderately easy and compliments the voicing well. Vocal ranges are very accessible for middle school and high school choirs. The score is dedicated to Dr. John Borman and Le Belle Voci of North Georgia College and State University. Having the text signed during the concert will add to the experience of the work.
