Written (mostly) during Jeff's teenaged years, this work is only now coming to light.  Firmly rooted in the Romantic tradition, the Symphony is, at times, introspective, heroic, lively, and tragic.

The first movement was composed when Jeff was only 13.  It's since been edited to improve the orchestration and flow, but is largely unchanged in content from the original.

The second movement was written at the age of 16 and has had the orchestration tidied up, but is otherwise unchanged.

The third movement was written at the age of 19 and has had a few new ideas added to round out the movement.

The fourth movement is new, except for the broad horn theme heard near the beginning, which was written when Jeff was 19.

The overall work is well balanced, with an abundance of memorable themes.
