Voice, flute, organ
This work, written in 1984, is the first song written by Jeff Smallman. Reworked in 2019, this newly available piece is suitable for all voice types. Beautiful and lyrical, the voice is given an emotionally honest line, all while staying within a modest range. The flute provides a poignant counterpoint to the vocal line, which is, in turn, anchored by the organ. Very moving.
