This beautiful 15th-century French carol has been arranged into a magnificent new work. The opening and closing verses feature an almost abbey-like choral treatment over a piano drone. As the piece progresses, the choral lines become increasingly intricate, climaxing in a completely new melody, while retaining the original Renaissance feel.
