Who Needs a Haircut
composer: Mikel Bell
A fun piece written in "barbershop" style for saxophone quintet. This catchy and memorable tune includes brief solos for almost everyone. Composed in ABCABC form, the first time through is played straight, while the second time is in a jazzy swing style, perhaps signifying a new attitude after a freshly-acquired haircut. This work is accessible for most ensembles.
